The science of care, the heritage of the gesture

OKÂ was born from an inheritance.

That of Ginette N’Koua , founder of OYABI KAMA, and the women of her family who passed on to her their knowledge of plants and healing rituals.

From this heritage has emerged a contemporary vision of well-being: preserving the richness of this ancestral knowledge, revealing African botanical treasures and combining them with the principles of aromatherapy to create simple, sensory and profoundly human treatments.

OKÂ means “the science of care” in the Teke language of Congo-Brazzaville.

More than a name, it’s our philosophy: to create a dialogue between tradition and modernity, nature and knowledge, heritage and innovation.

At OKÂ, each treatment is born from the encounter between ancestral knowledge passed down from generation to generation and the principles of aromatherapy .
